| "Perhaps it is no wonder that women were the first at the Cradle and the last at the Cross. They had never known a man like this Man-there has never been such another. A prophet and a teacher who never nagged at them, never flattered or coaxed or patronized; who never made arch jokes about them, never treated them as 'The women, God help us!' or 'The ladies, God bless them'; who rebuked without querulousness and praised without condescension; who took their questions and arguments seriously; who never mapped out their sphere for them, never urged them to be feminine or jeered at them for being female; who had no axe to grind nor uneasy male diginity to defend; who took them as He found them and was completely unselfconscious. There is no act, no sermon, no parable in the whole Gospel that borrows its pungency from female perversity; nobody could guess from the words and deeds of Jesus that there was anything 'funny' about woman's nature." -Dorothy Sayers

| Where have I been? Resting. Hardly even reflecting, that's how much I've been resting.
But yesterday I worked on my budget and today I meeting my Russian friend to study Russian. So, I guess that means it's time to be productive again.

| I know I haven't been writing much. I guess I don't have much to say. I read. I go for walks. I sleep. And while this time has both been good for me and reflective, I'm mostly processing the good things that the Lord has been saying to me. Still can't quite verbalize it all though.

| After having been around sick people for three weeks, I think I finally caught something. I'm quite proud of my immune system though for holding out this long.

| Where did we get this idea that we are to invite Jesus into our hearts? He has invited us into His kingdom. Not quite the same thing when you think about it.
